All staff provide strength based, family-centered services in-home, on site. Utilizing a wraparound philosophy of service provision, clients and their families are offered case management, group counseling, individual and/or family counseling, in this voluntary program. Additionally, clients may be linked to numerous community resources and provided funding opportunities to participate in recreational activities or purchase basic needs that enhance attainment of their service plan. Additionally, IVAT works closely with the Family Violence and Sexual Assault Institute (FVSAI). FVSAI provides training, education, and forensic (court-related) mental health services locally and nationally. IVAT and FVSAI provide clinical and forensic mental health services through their Professional Clinical and Forensic Services Department. Professional services within IVAT focus on providing individual, family, re-unification, and group therapy. Specialty areas of treatment include: abuse and trauma, depression, anxiety, substance abuse, dual diagnosis issues, anger management, behavioral problems and impulse control, and general life adjustment issues. We also provide parenting skills and domestic violence treatment as well as supervised visitations. Furthermore, we can provide comprehensive psychological evaluations, educational assessments, and neuropsychological screens as well as court-ordered assessments, such as child custody evaluations. We work with children, adolescents, and adults. Treatment services are provided on a sliding fee scale based on income.     Professional Clinical and Forensic Services, Family Violence and Sexual Assault InstituteIVAT and FVSAI are training and resource centers that focus directly and specifically on violence, abuse and trauma; goal is to respond to it and address its impact across the lifespan. Concerned with issues ranging from child maltreatment, sexual assault, children exposed to violence, intimate partner violence, and post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). CLINICAL The clinicians at IVAT provide: therapy (individual, family, and group) psychological assessment, supervised visitation, and parenting skills training. Treatment services are provided on a sliding scale based on income. FORENSIC The forensic consulting team at IVAT serves clients who are involved in criminal, family, and civil cases involving a broad range of forensic issues (sexual or physical), including child custody, child abuse, family violence allegations, sexual assault, and trauma.
