Rapid Rehousing Program, Alpha Project for the Homeless**IMPORTANT NOTE** Assistance is not immediate. Offers rental assistance and security deposits as well as landlord advocacy, assistance with finding affordable housing and case management assistance to families and/or individuals who are homeless with the goal of moving them into permanent housing. The services provided are with both, financial and case management assistance that is consistent with the client's individual needs. Experienced housing navigators and case managers regularly engage with clients, providing hands on assistance for those seeking to end their homelessness by providing emergency financial assistance, as well establishing structure for those who have secured housing after entering the Program. **IMPORTANT NOTE** SERVICE ONLY available to homeless individuals and families, NOT those seeking rental assistance to avoid eviction. Rental Subsidy Assistance Program, Del Mar Community ConnectionsFacilitates the Rental Subsidy Program for the City of Del Mar (Does NOT offer immediate emergency funds for rent payment or security deposit). There is currently multi-year wait list for a vacancies. Preference is given to low-income households of two or more, as well as low-income elderly and/or disabled individuals who live and work in Del Mar. Supportive Services for Veteran Families (SSVF), Veterans Village of San DiegoThe Supportive Services for Veteran Families (SSVF) Program provides supportive services to very low-income Veteran families who are in permanent housing or transitioning into permanent housing. The goal of the SSVF program is to address Veteran family’s housing crisis using the Housing First model by placing families in permanent housing while providing supportive services to help them maintain their housing.
