General Information
Description of ServiceOffers the Head Start child development program, which is designed to promote social and educational competence in infants, toddlers, and children. Focus is on early literacy development and school readiness skills. Offers health and mental health screenings, nutrition programs, social services for parents and children, and a bilingual multicultural program. The Oceanside 3, Camp Pendleton, Vista 1, San Marcos, Valley Center 1, and Fallbrook locations offer Early Head Start. Several program options are available, including combination of full-time, part-time, center-based, and home-based programs.
