General Information
Description of ServiceProvides legal, medical, mental health therapy (children and families) and social services to victims of domestic violence at the Family Justice Center. Provides assistance to victims of all types of domestic violence, including spousal abuse, child abuse, elder abuse, and same sex abuse. Provides assistance to victims of domestic violence at restraining order hearings and in the enforcement of existing restraining orders. Domestic violence and sexual assault professionals, medical professionals, and representatives from local nonprofit and government agencies are available to provide advocacy and emergency services, including shelter, and food. Counseling services are provided. A military liaison is available for domestic violence issues involving military families.
