General Information
Description of ServiceProvides 24-hour, 7-day access to County Mental Health Services and County Alcohol and Drug Services (County Behavioral Health Services) via telephone. Also has 'Live CHAT' services Mon- Fri 4pm-10pm via computer or smartphone.

The San Diego Access and Crisis (ACL), operated by Optum is an outstretched hand to individuals or people they know who are overwhelmed, depressed, or searching for answers. A phone call will connect you with compassionate counselor who is always standing by to provide hope and encouragement.

Services include FREE, confidential support in all languages; crisis intervention; suicide prevention; referrals for mental health and/or alcohol and drug needs; and referrals to other related resources in your area for Medi-Cal recipients or those who do not have health insurance.

Who can call: Anyone struggling with issues such as depression, anxiety, loss or anger; family members or friends concerned about someone; people thinking about harming themselves or others; and professionals seeking resources for their clients.
